How To Apply Spnb Online: RMR Rumah Mesra Rakyat Application

The application for the Rumah Mesra Rakyat Scheme (RMR) is filed online if the applicant has qualified. Here are the ways to upload an application for this RMR scheme online;

  2. Then, click on the “New Registration” section and fill in the form provided completely.
  3. Next, click on the “Register” button. 
  4. After successful registration, log in to the user account by entering a valid user ID and password and clicking on the “Login” button. 
  5. On the main page, fill out the RMR application form by filling in all the details of the applicant’s information. 
  6. Finally, click Complete on the form, and the applicant needs to print the form to send it to the SPNB officer.

What Is Rumah Mesra Rakyat (RMR) Programme

The Rumah Mesra Rakyat Program (RMR) is a housing scheme introduced under the Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB).

The program was created to help low-income people have a home on their own land.

The program focuses more on individuals who don’t have a home or live in old houses (daif), like fishermen, farmers, and poor families, but these people have their own land.

The scheme is provided by the government in the form of a real estate construction subsidy up to RM20,000.

There are two (2) types of housing schemes that are introduced under this program: Rumah Mesra Rakyat 1 Malaysia (RMR1M) and Rumah Mesra Rakyat Plus (RMRPLUS).

There are six (6) house designs provided by SPNB rumah mesra rakyat under this scheme. All financing and construction will be managed entirely by the SPNB. Malaysians who qualify for this RMR program can apply for it.

SPNB Eligibility

Individuals who want to make an application for this SPNB housing scheme must qualify as specified by the SPNB.

Currently, around 62,145 applicants have passed the application for this housing scheme and managed to build their own houses on their own land.

Here are the conditions for eligibility for the SPNB housing scheme: 

  1. The applicant is a Malaysian citizen. 
  2. Applicants must be between 18 and 65 years of age. 
  3. The monthly income of the applicant’s entire home must not exceed RM5,000. 
  4. The applicant and the spouse shall be individuals who do not own a house or live in an obsolete or imperfect house. 
  5. The land or reserve site must be suitable for the construction of the property and free from obstacles, loads, and constraints. A land or reserve site that is not the claimants must get the judgment from the landlord first. 
  6. The extent of the applicant’s land shall not be less than 3,000 feet per edge. 
  7. The applicant’s application is subject to the current year’s financial allocation.

How To Check The Latest Project List On The SPNB Online Portal

SPNB manages and develops real estate in the form of housing for Malaysians. Many projects are being launched by SPNB in Malaysia.

Users can check the housing projects run by SPNB through the official SPNB portal at https://spnb.com.my.

Users should click on the “Kediaman SPNB” section to see a list of projects run by SPNB, as shown in Figure 2.0.

Users can check the latest projects through the provided filters by selecting the state, location, property name, and price range according to their preferences. Everything will be displayed according to the user’s preferences.

How To Check Status SPNB Application Form

  1. According to the SPNB procedure, a response to the application for this SPNB housing scheme will be communicated within three (3) months of the date of submission of the application.
  2. The approval of the application will be done by the SPNB according to the financial allocation for the current year.
